Senator Webb,

Today I write in response to the email you have included me in, regarding the issues of health care in the United States.

Make no mistake about it, I do not trust you or for that matter most of your colleagues, particularly those in the Democratic Party.  Don't get me wrong, our government has devolved to something less than useless and the republicans have a large part in this, but I am of a mind that a simpleton can see that the democrats are the worse of two evils by a long shot.

As far as issues regarding health costs, how in the world can you believe that any clear thinking American will believe that placing the problems in the hands of the congress, the senate and the executive branch will in any way provide a solution of, for and by the people.  Please do not write me with further correspondence touting your plans to work for a solution for Americans.  I have less than no faith in you, Senator Warner, Harry Reid, President Obama, Joseph Biden and the entire gang on the other side of the Potomac, no need to list all.

Now you would not have heard from me on this issue, as I have written Warner and find that it matters very little whether I write you or him.  The two of you will vote according to the schedule you are given.  But since you have included me in your list of recipients for this email, I am obliged to respond.    As far as health care reform or health insurance reform, your party now considers that ramming their plan down the throat of the American people, perhaps using reconciliation may be the way to go.

Make no mistake about the fact that the totalitarian process that your party is imposing on the citizens of this country is the reason that people are waking up and saying no.  Your colleagues call those that are standing up and speaking disruptive, haters and racist just to list a few names.  You colleagues identify those opposed to your brand of government intervention as an  Astroturf movement, organized by the pharmaceutical and healthcare firms, when your people bus in Acorn and SEIU to town hall meetings across the country, as you party makes deals with the Pharmaceutical and healthcare companies.  Ironic how many of your colleagues like Dick Durbin have decided to cancel such meetings, calling the meetings a waste of time.  Then we have democrats like John Dingell relating those opposed to government involvement in health care to Ku Klux Klan members of the sixties.  Nancy Pelosi relates them to Nazis and as your socialist colleagues are called what they are, the word socialist is being branded the new n word.  Then we have the arrogance of Robert Gibbs and the tattle to email address at the white house, now removed, and Axelrod’s spam.

No Senator Webb, you guys to not engender trust.  If you have read this email you will know that I like many, many people I know and do not know am paying attention.  We also understand the importance of keeping our eye on the other hand as you direct us to the opposite hand.

Good Day,

John Daniel Pezzella

Senator Warner,

Though reluctant, I will continue to write.  My experience to date is that you simply have no interest in what the citizens of Virginia want.  That which rings with you are the kudos and compliments you may receive.  You seem to worship at the altar of Mark Warner, as most of our leaders seem to worship at their individual shines to themselves.

I thought you not a particularly good governor, though I admit your were popular.  Be that as it may, your few months in the senate have proven you to be a man of no particular principle, simply a mouth piece for the white house and whatever Harry Reed approves.  Your voting record shows you to be more attuned to assuring the approval by your party generals, and that you are a party to running this country in to the ground.

Having written this, I want to ask you if you will commit yourself to placing yourself and your family under any government run health care program you may vote to impose on the citizens, and will you support excluding mandatory abortion coverage in healthcare reform as the congress is working through?  I request and insist that you support abortion exclusion from any healthcare legislation.  In fact, the government has no business in abortion funding whatsoever.

You have responded to my inquiries in the past.  You have supported legislation that was hurried through, as your party now seems to be intent to do with healthcare legislation.  The best example is the economic stimulus legislation, which was a farce and like your colleagues, you did not read the bill.  (I currently do not have health insurance having been without work since October, but do not support what the white house and the Democratic Party, particularly the speaker of the house are trying to impose on the American people).  We are going deeper in debt and have a weakened dollar with a government that seems to be bent on payback to those that got them elected, while taking over the economy of the country.  The government seems to be in the hands of amateurs doing the bidding of external groups who are benefiting at the expense of the bulk of the American citizens.

It is my sincere prayer that I will find myself in a position of reversing my feelings about you, and many of our supposed leaders in the government, but in summation I again ask:

Are you willing to commit to placing you and your family under any government healthcare program you may vote to impose on the American people?

Will you please exclude abortion from any health insurance requirements?

Sincerely,
